The Full Condition Survey is a detailed survey to access the structural condition of a yacht as well as checking and testing the yachts equipment. The Full Condition Survey is carried out in three parts:
- - In water inspection
- - Sea trial then lift of the yacht (If Possible)
- - Followed by out of water inspection
The inspection can be divided into the following areas:
- - Hull, superstructure and decks
- - Stern gear
- - Skin fittings
- - Cathodic protection (anodes)
- - Fastenings
- - Ground tackle and mooring arrangements
- - Windows, hatches and port lights
- - Handrails, stanchions and lifelines
- - Davits, boarding ladders etc.
